A Bell offered by the Knights of Malta to the Organisation Green Butterflies in honour of St Columbanus was blessed at the ceremony in Bobbio Cathedral on Sunday 20 July. Cardinal Bagnosco blessed the bell in the presence of Don Gianni Ambrogio, Bishop of Piacenza-Bobbio. The Belll is now in Genoa where it will be dismantled into 3 parts so that it can travel by land, air and sea to Bangor next year to celebrate the 1400th Anniversary of the death of St Columbanus.
