Columban Way Walk for Peace – Saturday 20 September

Dear Friend of Columbanus Bangor

I would like to remind you that the four mile Columban Way Walk for Peace from Helen’s Bay to Bangor Abbey will take place on:

Saturday 20 September 2025

Starting at Helens’ Bay Picnic Car Park at 2.00pm

(Registration from 1.30pm)

At the end of the walk,  refreshments will be provided at Bangor Abbey Parish Centre. There will also be a short presentation about the European Columban Way which traces the footsteps of Columbanus from Mt Leinster, Co Carlow, where he was born in 543 through eight European countries to Bobbio, Italy, where he died in 615.

If you or your family or friends would like to join us, you need to register at the link below:

The walk is free for members but there is a small charge for  non-members of £5.00 which will be collected before the start of the walk.

If you require any further information, please call me on:  07872 857 912.

Kindest regards
