Foster Care. During this season of Advent our minds become very focused on family, both our nuclear and extended family. The Holy Family no doubt experienced the same joys and struggles as any family, and as we prepare for Christmas and the feast of the Holy Family on 31st December, Bishop Donal asks for our assistance in promoting the option of Fostering in the Parish. There are many struggles within families which leads to children and young people needing foster care. During 12noon Mass on the weekend of 28th January 2024 there will be staff from HSC NI Foster Care in our Church. A member of our Safeguarding Committee will read a short notice. The Foster Care staff will then visit the Parish Centre following Mass to speak with anyone who thinks they would like to learn more about fostering.
