As You are aware we are in the process of fundraising to allow us to fully restore and preserve for the future the beautiful Stain Glass Windows in St Comgalls Church, Bangor
These original windows designed and made by Franz Mayer of Munich, Germany date from 1916.
It is important as the windows are almost 100 years old that we restore and preserve them for future generations. The windows had some work carried out on them during the 1980’s but now require some serious work to ensure that they are sound and weather proofed.
The cost of restoring each window ranges between £1500 and £3500.
Any donations large or small should be forwarded to the Parish office.
